Who said there is no money in CRS-Facebook User Question CRS Govt.

Facebook user by the name Ukorebi Esien recently on one of his post question the Cross River State Government. In his word "Who said there is mo money in CRS." He further analysis the revenue coming into the state as follows:

N15000 x 150 trucks, this is what CRS government generate from  trucks alone in a day as revenue not to mention taxis, keke, market shops, business premises and hawkers.

They have now introduce all manners of taxes such as carbon, scrap etc.

lets not forget revenues generated from natural resources such as granite and lime stones.

The state forest reserve is also a huge source of revenue generation running into billions of Naira.

DOPT is one establishment that generates revenue like crazy. its daily revenue from taxis and keke drivers alone is well over 5milion or 35million weekly.

Another silent money spinning agency of the state is CR geographic information agency. this agency rolls in millions of Naira weekly.

Lets not forget to mention the state Primary Health Care Development Agency. With a wide range of western and foreign donors, the agency has attracted huge sums in hard currencies and medical equipments into the state.

I can go on and on in listing all the agencies, ministries etc who are machineries set in motion to increase the financial fortune of the state.

Even without oil or robust Federal allocation, Ayade still have all the resources to push CRS ahead without complains.

who said there is no Money in CRS?

What can you say?

13 things you’ll find yourself doing between now and New Year.

It’s official – we’ve had the good bit and now we’re stuck in the long ole wait until New Year’s, which isn’t really that long but feels like a billion years. Maybe it’s some kind of turkey-induced coma or maybe it’s just the dark nights catching up with us. Either way you’ll probably find yourself doing at least one of these between now and New Year’s. 1. Considering tidying your childhood bedroom and even maybe redecorating it, moving a box of old school folders from one side of the room to the other, then giving up and going to watch The Golden Compass instead. 2. Sorting your presents into four neat piles – ‘stuff I can give to someone else’, ‘stuff I can give to someone else I don’t like much’, ‘stuff for the charity bag’ and ‘bin’. 3. Wearing all the new items of clothing you’ve been given, possibly at once, to prove to the family how much you like them (and that they definitely won’t be getting shoved to the back of the wardrobe then taken to Oxfam after three ye...
