Ray Morphy Pinches Senator Rose Oko

Former reporter at Nigeria television authority (NTA)  Ray U.  Morphy says enough of Rose Oko at the senate. In his words as written on his timeline;

In 2014, I and hon Mark Ukpo formed a tag team to run for senate. After we both spent about 8m each to buy forms and pay tax, Liyel l Imoke had a meeting with both of us and begged us to consider a sick Rose Oko to run for the senate. We both objected but he claimed that Rose will die of heartbreak if she lost out.

He went on to promise a return of our expenses by Rose Oko. Today, Rose Oko is senator and Mark Ukpo is dead. Please ask her if she honoured that promise made by Liyel Imoke.

Mark Ukpo is the mentor of ALL recent Yala politicians including Rose Oko who Mark nominated as a commissioner in Ernest Attah's admin. The story is known to all including her dalliance with that military governor that led to her marital accident.

When he died, Rose Oko celebrated as if she is God. Today, she wants another vote to the senate. Please ask her if she left anything there other than than the money she makes from the poverty of her constituency.

Her removal is beyond party. She will not go back to that senate because she has brought no dividend to Northern Senatorial District other than wickedness and rancour.

Reacting to Ray Morphy comment on facebook Florence Oluohu writes: Truth, no matter how bitter, must be said. No matter whose ox is gored, we must rise above certain idiotic sentiments that do not translate to development, advancement and progress, both to the people and the polity. Effective representation is a right, not a privilege. It's time to say No, and vehemently too, to "filling the gap".

Rose Okoji Oko is a Nigerian Politician and sitting Senator. She was a Member of the Federal House of Representatives from the ruling People's Democratic Party (PDP), serving the people of Yala/Ogoja Federal Constituency in Nigeria’s 7th National Assembly. She was elected into office as the first female representative from her constituency in June 2011 and sat as Deputy Chairman House Committee on Education. She is the current Senator representing the people of Cross River North Senatorial District. She was elected into office June 2015 election.

Senator Oko commenced a four-year tenure as Member House of Representatives, Yala/Ogoja Federal Constituency in June 2011. That year she was appointed to the following committees:

Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Education[5]
Member, House Committee on Gas
Member, House Committee on Public Accounts
Member, House Committee on Works
Member, House Committee on Industry
Member, House Committee on Army
Member, House Committee on Women Affairs

Now, the question is as the people of Yala LGA and northern senatorial District benefit from their trust and confident bestow on Senator Rose Oko from 2011 till date?
