Wofai Ewa to run for Abi/Yakurr Federal House of Rep

9th March,2018|Politics|Wofai Ewa

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are excited to announce that our Website is now LIVE!  www.wofaiewa.org.ng

On the 25th of December 2017, I made a public declaration to put myself up for representative service to the people of Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency of Cross River State.

Quite a lot has happened since then and our sensitisation and consultative visits to the communities have been overwhelmingly impressive, further consolidating our belief that our people anxiously want True Change they can believe in.

Our focus is fixed on securing the PEOPLE’S Popular Ticket to the House of Representatives, and further fulfilling our campaign objectives through a Constituency Charter we are currently preparing.

Our young team will be in great need of public support and subsequent funding as we hope to move this revolutionary Train to its proverbial destination in March 2019, and beyond.

We are, at the moment, still consulting and sensitising our people about events and the expectations for the 2019 General Elections, while hoping to arm our people with the necessary information to #VoteRight and #VoteWisely.

We request that members of the public – and particularly our fathers, mothers, brothers and sisters in the Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency – visit our website to navigate through and register as Volunteers and/or Supporters, while also debating our Manifesto and Legislative Proposals as displayed on our website. Critiques and reviews are still ongoing in different public fora.

An upgrade to our website is underway in the coming weeks and we will really appreciate upgrade support from members of the public. This is a Test Run. :)

May I again, clarify that the requisite CHARACTER and CAPACITY, as natural requirements to seeking public office, are not in doubt and definitely not in short supply.

My name is Okoi-Wofai Okoi Ewa and I am presenting myself for public scrutiny and acceptance, seeking to occupy the Abi/Yakurr seat at the House of Representatives, in the 2019 General Elections.

God bless us all.

Wofai Ewa

Apple fighting against its government

The United States government has demanded that Apple take an unprecedented step which threatens the security of our customers. We oppose this order, which has implications far beyond the legal case at hand.  This moment calls for public discussion, and we want our customers and people around the country to understand what is at stake. The Need for Encryption Smartphones, led by iPhone, have become an essential part of our lives. People use them to store an incredible amount of personal information, from our private conversations to our photos, our music, our notes, our calendars and contacts, our financial information and health data, even where we have been and where we are going. All that information needs to be protected from hackers and criminals who want to access it, steal it, and use it without our knowledge or permission. Customers expect Apple and other technology companies to do everything in our power to protect their personal information, and at Ap...
